Women’s Only 5K Walk & Run

The 21^st Women's Only 5K Walk and Run, one of the largest women’s only races in the Southeast, will bring women to Greensboro on Oct. 5 to compete in an event benefiting Guilford County women who cannot afford to get mammograms.

Register online from now through September 29.

In 2012, a record field of 3,716 women took part in race.  The event raised a record $124,759.63 to support the Mammography Scholarship Fund at Women’s Hospital. 

“Mammograms remain the very best way to detect breast cancer early,” says Cindy Farrand, President, Women’s Hospital. “It’s wonderful that so many women make sure that all women in our community have an opportunity to get this important test.”

Cone Health Cancer Center treats more breast cancer cases than any other cancer type.
